Culinary School Recommendation

THE HARDEST SEASON

As promised, here is one of the many interviews that I plan to publish in the coming weeks. I give the word to young THS band of central Italy.

cumpĂ  Hi! Introduce a little 'to people who are reading this interview!
Hello to you and all readers of Pogo-zine. We are The Hardest Season, a hardcore band in and around Rome.
We play for a year and a half around Italy and Europe and we hope you had a chance to see us live.

I know you're a bit 'scattered around the center Italy, one in Rome, someone in the swamp, someone in Abruzzo .. how do you reconcile the life of a group with that of all days?
Yes, ths project began with the abysmal distances. I (Luke) and Fabrizio were coming from the Marsi, a desolate area of \u200b\u200bAbruzzo, Valerio was studying in Perugia and only
Roberto was in a permanent position in Rome. In the last year have changed some things. Fabrizio Valerio lives in Rome and Viterbo, and Silvia lives in nearby Pomeroy, so we declined
the radius distance that separated us. But it is hard enough to balance the various commitments work / university life with the band, even if The Hardest Season
remain the commitment of our lives more pleasant.

What music do you listen? What are your group / favorite artists? Some of them in some way influenced the way you play? We
of atypical hc kids you know! For my little hardcore lately and listening to my stereo (that of the car because I did not
long time to stop listening to music in peace) run post-rock, indie, mathcore and other stuff. The same holds true for others.
We have very broad musical tastes. As a band our influences surely depart from bands like American Nightmare ending with Dead Swans, Gold Kids
and Rise and Fall. But even within the hardcore and we're pretty careful about anything we throw the ear attract our attention.

What do your lyrics talk about? Why the choice of English for the lyrics?
expected that question from time as the lyricist of the band. The texts of the THS are introspective, intimate and aimed toward a reflexive
quotidina existence. Reading the texts you will find a feeling of discomfort, remorse, feelings or experiences related to the simple reflections on the future. I know that as a concept is not very hardcore, but I could not write something I do not
really inspiring, and I also believe that it is not to dictate the height through our songs rules of social life or politics.
Of course I have the support of other members who advise and I read every draft of the text that will end up on our songs.

one of you is vegan / vegetarian? It 'been so long since you made this choice?
We are all vegetarians. We follow this lifestyle for years and we believe it is the best way to live.

In each of our concert we reaffirm our commitment to a lifestyle that does not involve the killing of other living beings, and certainly for the band vegetarianism is a strong link. I dare not imagine our lives without this noble ideal.

The usual question to each group: where do you stand? Smurfs or Gragamella?
Gargamel for life! we are sad, dark and evil, could not be otherwise.

What will you do next? An album? Another tour will? The conquest of the world?
There are many things in the project. E'uscito a few months ago our second ep "somenthing steals the love i felt" and our tourvideo on youtube. So we want to promote the latest work with concerts in every corner of Italy and Europe. We are 5 guys that are set off according to the stage and we give the best possible in every concert. In just over a year we played in over 30 concerts, and especially what makes us proud. In late April we will enter back into the studio to record their first full length album and we are excited for this. Of course, when our lives allow him to set off once the mini tour of Europe and are already scheduled for May and November 2011.

any of you follow football or some other sport? If so which team to cheer?
Yes, the fans are me and Valerio, respectively curse that every Sunday with defeat to Juventus and Roma.
But fortunately we do not give too much weight to a patient what the football business and our support does not undermine the commitments of the band.

You are among the few groups in which he plays an Italian woman .. admit it was a purely commercial move more people to run it? Apart from jokes, how come there are always a few girls involved in playing / organizing concerts / hold a label or distro?
Yes, we can boast about it. I'll tell you, the female presence in the life of the scene is always less, but we do not live in the band having Silvia.
Of course I do not think the Italian scene, as dying, precluding the presence of girls in the band or other activities related to it. It makes me worry more about the fact that the concerts all over Italy you have the feeling of being at a meeting of the condominium. The same faces will meet again from Rome to Vicenza, Bologna Bolzano. It 'sad to know that there are more guys who sacrifice their lives and their money to go see a concert.

You've done some concerts abroad, have you noticed any substantial differences with Italy? What could be worse or better off our borders?
Certainly there are differences. I could praise the Germans, but I'll tell you that I think we took the earliest date that sucker could be taken to Germany as Friend nsieme The Consequence, and then at the level of the public the difference with Italy was not substantial. The welcome we have given the French and German promoter is certainly worthy of note. In Italy, in most cases there is indifference, but the foreign guys who know how to organize the dates reward the sacrifices of those who rent a van and travel hundreds of kilometers. The European tour was certainly heartening to this point of view, we are happy to have been able to have this experience and we look forward to sharing!

Well, I imagined it .. if you have something to add go ahead!
