This was one of my fortunes in the experience of Organization Analysis where I was a guest at the association Amici del Future Film Festival Bologna at the time for which they work all year: the exhibition - the event Future Film Festival 2010.
Event born in 1999 in Bologna, and the only national dedicated to the discovery of the back office of the animation and the production process of images taken with the new information technologies, has become the most eagerly awaited event in the industry.
Like any festival, the Future Film Festival does not provide for any exception in the inside of his program "the highlight", appealing to their audience and not just normal!
SUMMARY ..
We're talking about movies .. right? YES! If you ask: tell me the title of the movie event of the year 2010? .. I do not know you but my answer is James Cameron's AVATAR.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010 was special guest Joe Letteri, senior Visual Effects Supervisor for "Avatar" , which has unveiled a national preview the making of the film.
The location chosen for the meeting has attracted a lot to me personally, Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, which is a building of thirteen which was found to house the cinema of the twenty-first: a good jump time .. What do you think? The only flaw, in my opinion, not only was the choice of a room too small for an event that you could easily predict the scope of the recall, due to the very name of the movie "Avatar"!
The meeting aroused strong emotions in the audience - including me - that is produced in a continuous series of spontaneous applause that accompanied his letter during the entire conference in an almost surreal, like the one that characterizes the film in question.
Several themes touched, but one that is starting to make a change to the movies today and the future is certainly the desire to eliminate the boundary between the real and the virtual in the films.
To achieve this in the movie "Avatar," the director has used a virtual camera which was able to interact simultaneously with both the players with the avatars: the live action was in fact transposed simultaneously in a first level of animated graphics.
How can we do this? You have created a helmet fitted with MiniCam incorporating only the facial expressions to convey them on the avatar in order to capture the emotions of the characters. But unfortunately I speak as a secular subject, so I just have to let the experts speak! ENJOY YOUR VISION!
