Dungaree Meryl Streep

Swingle Singers concert of Trento (Italy)

Vouli There are two years, but in the end I managed to re-Trent to lead the legendary ensemble the Swingle Singers . I think there's a passionate song which does not know this versatile group. In the spring of 2005, by Maestro Mario Allia director of the vocal group " Chorus of Turin, I got to meet with a Master's in Turin Swingle, do not waste a moment of time and I rush to register. It 'been a fruitful and interesting day, where one by one the members of the' octet, passed on the techniques they use in exhibitions, by imitation of instruments, techniques of breathing, the modus of interpretation 'Swingle', that mode counterpoint that characterizes the 'performance of the songs, the stage effects and movement on stage. Get in contact with them was for me how to bring the myths, some would say ... but I am only ragazzzi ... But is a beautiful gift of music. For those, like myself, believes that music is 'divine', which that bind us with the universe in space and time, fill the spirit with those sounds, those sublime harmonies, was a real hangover. By
friendship with Richard (second tenor) and treasurer of the group, and ask him if that would be available for Christmas to do a concert in Trento. But the answer was no, because they are already engaged in Tokyo, do not give up and I keep in touch with him. A concert under the Christmas period would be very interesting and intriguing. He tried to tie the event Coop. 'Saniservice' through this and try to make a contribution in support of ' ANFFAS .

In a lengthy email exchange with Richard and then the secretary of the group, I can fix the date of 18 December '07, at a Tuesday 'Auditorium S. Chiara di Trento. We agree on the songs, they wanted only Christmas, but then I convinced them to make a half classical and half Christmas. It is also involved in the event the School of Music "I Minipolifonici , which through the Director Maestro Stefano Chicco , is able to organize in the same morning of the concert, a short-Master, addressed to the choir boys and teachers.

that the gazette, but the surprise was the end when, after two more Christmas carols, baritone Fox sang "Hello Beautiful", a beautiful interpretation, and here the words have more meaning, and enter those in the field of vibration, the "goose bumps" that are difficult to pass them on.
A concert continues to grow, from its inception, no regrets for his illustrious past performers.

remember who he played:

sopranos: Julie & Joanna Goldsmith Kenco
altos: Johanna Marshall & Clare Wheeler

levels: Tom Bullard & Richard Eteson

bass and percussion: Tobias Hug and Kevin Fox

sound engineer: Hugh Walker

After the concert, the group he met with the organizers at Restaurant "Green Tower" in the photo, where they continued to amaze the audience with their virtuoso singing without the aid of amplification, and scorning to join in singing with the present strength of their curiosity to discover new melodies of local folklore. Maestro Stefano Chicco has promised to try to arrange "The Mountainous" for Swingle, we hope that this promise materialize, would be rather curious to hear these voices singing to the tune of Queen of the Alps

Bravo!
Mariano

PS: The next concert in Italy is June 19, 2008 at CENT - Teatro di Cento.
